White Trash Mom is written with humor and a touch of irony.  White Trash Mom began as a rant against the expectations for the modern mother.   Perfection is the status quo and if you don't look like Heather Locklear while making a six figure salary and homeschooling your kids...you're a failure. 

White Trash Mom is written to spread the word that nobody is doing it all, most of us are struggling to get the whole motherhood thing right.

White Trash Mom was created by Michelle Lamar in 2005.  Molly Wendland joined the quest against perfection in late 2005.
